A new team has been formed so as to organize a new challenge.

We are 7 students from L'Ecole des Mines de Douai.

The new challenge will take place on the 20th and the 21st of April 2013 in Saint-Laurent-Blangy, the same place where the 2012 challenge had occured.

We invit engineering schools from all over Europe to come and to have fun with concrete canoes.

This is the schedule of the weekend

Today, we are starting an active phase to meet the Medias, we are contacting the press, the television and the radio. Otherwise, we are informing the authority in order to be sure of the well course of the events. The presence of a speaker is almost concluded and we are gathering the jury together. Two months before the beginning of the competition, the organizer team is absolutely invested into the preparation.

Before closing this newsletter, here are some photos of the Mineship 4 team. These crew of the Ecole des Mines which will take part to the competition just remove their canoe from the mould.
