The Project

Description of our project:

As part of our year at the Ecole des Mines de Douai we have to do a project throughout the year. Concrete Canoe Challenge The project aims to promote the options of Civil Engineering, both for our school for participating schools. He is organizing a day of tournament in which teams would face various sections of Civil Engineering across France but also Europe in different races and slaloms in the concrete canoe.

The main purpose is as explained above to promote civil engineering through a day rather playful and sporty. Our desire is to bring together students from different branches of the superior (Great Schools, IUT, etc.) but also the public around an activity rather unusual to float concrete.
